Made in NZ

Just as all oat varieties and growing regions are not created equal, oat milks are certainly not all equal.

So what should you be looking for in an oat milk, and why does it matter? Well believe it or not we know a fair bit about milking an oat. And we should, seeing we spent 4 years working to get a world leading oat milk facility built in NZ, but thats another story.

Enzyme technology + processing equipment + temperature and time. That's the secret sauce. As a brand who proudly develop our own enzymes, recipes and products we can guarantee you our products are packed full of the super food element of the oat grain - the soluble fibre beta-glucan.

With Otis, you are tasting over 5 years of development and innovation by New Zealand farmers, food technologists and baristas - from farm to cup. We invite you to taste the difference.

Deliciously rich, creamy oat milk, grown and made here in NZ.

Our Story

We're Tim and Chris, old friends from rural, farming upbringings in New Zealand. Inspired by our inherent connection to our land, we saw immense potential in the humble oat, after first tasting oat milk as a dairy alternative in 2010.

Witnessing first hand the transformation of beautiful heritage farms across NZ turn into more intensive operations spurred us into action. We thought, lets create New Zealand's first homegrown dairy alternative, and that's just what we did.

Founded in 2017, today, our small team is proud to serve customers in cafes and stores throughout New Zealand and South East Asia.

A modern milk, grown differently in the hope of leaving our little corner of the world in a better place than we found it.

Our Mission

Otis was born from a passion to make a positive impact on people and the planet. If we keep doing things the same exact way, generation after generation, we will get the same exact result.

So how about a light touch heritage grain like oats, grown by the best farmers, milked here in NZ using the most advanced technology, to offer a tasty, nutritious alternative?
