Meri Kirihimete friends, just like that its nearly time to up stumps and take a well-deserved, completely over indulged break. And we cannot wait. Before we send you on your merry way we thought it best we arm you with a festive oaty beverage recipe to help push the boat out a little. This month’s recipe is the Otis Oat Nog. Super easy, super plant based, super tipsy (if you’re so inclined).

Otis Oat Nog….

Add straight into a 1L carton of Otis:

Ingredients:
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp ginger powder ( optional - if you like it bit spicy)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Method:
Close the bottle cap and shake well
( that’s literally it, you just spice up the Otis )

Build the drink ( 8oz size)

* Cold one - alcoholic
Add into shaker:
30ml alcohol of choice ( we love @drinkhonest spiced rum)
1tsp maple syrup
150ml spiced Otis

Method
Shake over ice and strain into chill iced tumbler
Finish with grated nutmeg

* Cold one - non alcoholic
Add into shaker:
30ml non alcoholic alternative (@seedlipdrinks goes down nicely)
1tsp maple syrup ( Noble Bourbon barrel maple could replace above as well)
150ml spiced Otis

Method
Shake over ice and strain into chill ice tumbler
Finish with grated nutmeg

* Hot one
Replace with hot spiced Otis ( heat up in stove or steam with coffee machine )
