Golden Overnight Oats
This is one bright, nourishing breakfast to lift you through those winter months. It’s uber high in beta glucans, our favourite heart loving fibre, healthy fats, antioxidants and anti-inflammatory goodness.
The base:
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup Otis Oat M!lk, The Everyday One
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (or chai spice)
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- pinch salt
To top:
- 1/2 banana, sliced
- 2 tsp tahini
- 1 tbsp crushed roasted almonds
- optional: dash extra maple syrup ;)
The method:
Mix all the base ingredients in a bowl or container and let set in the fridge for at least 30 minutes (ideally overnight) before serving with all the toppings. It will be quite thick so feel free to add a splash more oat milk in the morning for your desired texture!
